Milk and texture

Milk changes body, sweetness, temperature and the perception of coffee strength.

The simulator separates milk volume and foam because a latte, cappuccino and cream-forward signature drink can use similar espresso while feeling completely different.

Steaming workflow

Start with cold milk

Use fresh milk appropriate to the order: dairy, oat, soy or lactose-free.

Introduce air early

Build the amount of microfoam required by the recipe.

Create a whirlpool

Integrate bubbles into glossy microfoam rather than dry, separated foam.

Stop at target temperature

Simulation recipes typically sit around 60–64°C. Avoid overheating.

Swirl and pour immediately

Keep texture integrated from pitcher to cup.

AI Barista connection: A customer asking for “extra creamy” may need a different menu item or a recipe customization. Do not assume extra milk is always the best answer.
